I was recently trying to explain why the recent repeal of the Net Neutrality Act could be a very bad thing to my father. Turns out he wasn’t familiar with the Act and his first questions were the same logical questions that I came to. “What was so bad about the Act?” “What was its purpose?”

The Net Neutrality Act was put in place to ensure a level playing field. The repeal likely puts large corporations in a position where they can prioritize access.
